  1. If you are planning to travel to UAE, the latest protocols of Dubai Airport states that it is absolutely essential for the passengers to have a negative COVID‑19 RT‑PCR test certificate for a test taken no more than 72 hours before departure. But if you are travelling from any of the following South-Asian countries- Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, or Sri Lanka, then you shouldn’t follow the generalized international arrival protocols of Dubai Airport. Because there are specific requirements for the passengers of the aforementioned countries. The requirements are:

-Travellers arriving in UAE from any country (including the GCC) must have a negative COVID19 RTPCR test certificate for a test taken no more than 72 hours before departure.

-The COVID19 RTPCR report must include a QR code linked to the original report for verification purposes. This is applicable for travellers coming from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, or Sri Lanka.

    - Upon arrival in Dubai airport, the QR code must be displayed at check-in, and to the officials of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
