Best International School in Dubai for Expats

Getting in and around schools in Dubai could prove to be full of hassle especially for expats. Thus, I’m informing you about a school that gives some leniency to expats. The school is the  American school of Dubai. This independent, non-profit school in Dubai's Al Barsha neighborhood was founded in 1966 and offers a US curriculum from pre-kindergarten to grade 12. The school is located in Al-Barsha. 

Details regarding American School of Dubai (note that all fees are in UAE Dirham)-

  • There are about 1850 students in this school
  • It is a co-ed school
  • The teaching language is English
  • Boarding is not available here
  • Annual Tuition Fees: K1: 49,255, K2: 64,683 and Grade 1-12: 82,581
  • Registration fee (non-refundable): 1,000
  • Facility fee (annual K2-grade 12): 12,984
  • Capital fee (once): 22,000
  • Book deposit (once, refundable): 500
  • Medical fee (once): 350

Admission requirements in American School of Dubai:

  • Copy of Student's Passport
  • Applicant Photo
  • K1-K2: Nursery/School Report (if available)
  • Grade 1-12: Last Two End of Year Report Cards and Current School Year Term Report
  • Grade 10-12: Official High School Transcript (if available)

Does it have a required/target SAT score?

@devsrx Best if you score above 1000 (500 in each band).
