Being one of the most visited countries in the Middle-East, Qatar faces the risk of the COVID-19 outbreak in the country. To avoid this risk, Qatar imposed strict health regulations for international travellers arriving in the country.
Qatar has classified countries into two lists, Green and Red, in addition to a secondary list of Exceptional Red Countries (based on international and local health risk indicators, and the epidemiology of COVID-19 in the different countries).
It is an absolute necessity to have the required dosage of the approved vaccines to get entry into Qatar. Without being vaccinated, one cannot enter Qatar. Those who are vaccinated must abide by the following set of rules:
Before arrival:
- Conduct a negative PCR test within 72 hours before arrival to Qatar (All age groups).
After arrival:
- Conduct a Rapid Antigen Test on day 2 of hotel quarantine, and the individual will be released on same day if the result of the COVID-19 test is negative (All age groups).
